Neon

The Naugatuck Ecumenical Outreach Network (NEON) is a group of churches concerned with the issue of hunger in Naugatuck that was formed in 2008.

NEON hosts a free community dinner monthly from September – June each year. The dinners are typically held at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 210 Church Street, Naugatuck. For information regarding community dinners, call Judy Desouza at 203-640-5199.

NEON also provides family food bags periodically throughout the year. Criteria for food bags - must live in Naugatuck, have children under the age of 18 and be in need of food to help feed children. There is an interview process and determination is dependent on availability. For information regarding family food bags, call Dottie Hewes 203-723-7932.
